I am a database administrator in an IT company. From last several days, I have been working on a very complicated project. Well to cut it short, Microsoft Access stopped responding for few reasons. It needed task manager to close it. When tried to reopen the database, the following error messages was displayed by Access:“This database has been converted from a prior version of Microsoft Office Access by using the DAO Compact Database method instead of the Convert Database command on the tools menu (Database Utilities submenu). This has left the database in a partially converted state.”When I clicked ok on the window of the error message, further error message get displayed stating:“If you have a copy of the data base in it original format, use the convert database command on the tools menu (Database Utilities submenu) to convert it. If the original database is no longer available, create a new database and import your tables and queries to preserve your data. Your other database objects can't be recovered”After these error messages, I needed to close the database using task manager. CauseI think the problem has occurred due to the incomplete conversion of the database. Due to the partial conversion, the database has got corrupted and it can’t be accessed. As a resolution of the problem, I have used Jet Comp and Compact and Repair database utilities but they didn’t help me at all. At this stage of time, I was in a serious problem of data loss. It was really very critical situation for me because the corrupted database was of great important and unfortunately it hasn’t been backed up. It was very significant to repair and restore the corrupted database as soon as possible. I asked several of my colleagues and friends that are in same profession but it was of no use. Finally I searched on net to find out any relevant tool to repair my corrupted database and to perform Access Recovery. I was lucky at this point of time and found a great Access Recovery software in the form of Stellar Phoenix Access Recovery software. It is a very easy to use and the most powerful MDB recovery software that is helpful in all possible cases of Access database corruption. I found the software as it was written on the company’s website. There is no false position made by the company. First I downloaded the free demo version of the software from Stellar’s website and searched the database through it. This Access recovery software worked well and previewed my entire database. I found all of my required data in the preview of demo version. Therefore, to save the data, I purchased the serial key of the software and got my data restored. This Access repair software worked well with all of the database objects including tables, reports, forms, queries, macros, database relationships, and constraints.
