Fat Loss, I think you'll agree, is something that is elusive to a vast majority of us. We are constantly bombarded with 'diet' plans, low carbs, high protein, cabbage soup, special teas. You name it, there's a diet for it!
Do they work? Do they heck!
Now you might think this statement is harsh, and yes they might work short term, but statistics show us that when you come off the 'said' diet, and resume 'normal' eating, you'll regain the weight initially lost and then some!
If you look at the facts, you might think differently in your approach to fat loss in the future.
Food Companies supply foods that keep you 'hooked'.
I'm not just talking about fast food restaurants, take outs and junk food, I'm talking about the supermarket food that we buy, ready meals, diet meals and drinks. I really believe that a lot of these so called fat loss products are doing us serious damage.
The fat loss industry is raking in billions.
They are preying on our low self esteem, our desperation to change our apperarance and improve our health. Unfortunately, in their quest to make money, the integrity of many of these companies should be called to question.
The media is destroying our identities.
The constant portrayal of the 'perfect' being has totally changed the way we look at ourselves. In our quest to become socially acceptable, we often end up suffering low self esteem and mild forms of depression when we don't reach the targets we have set ourselves. The fat loss program fails and we comfort eat and gain yet more weight. A viscious circle begins!
You see, it's my belief that a lot of our problems are not down to us, but influences that are surrounding us. The question is, what is the answer to successful fat loss then?
Well, I've always been of the belief that there is more to our failure of successful fat loss than diet alone. Our bodies are complex commodities and a lot of what determines what weight we lose is not just our diets, it's what's happening inside us that will be the biggest influence to how we lose weight.
I recently read an article that was along these lines and what I read really blew me away! A female doctor discovered after years of research that we all have 'parasites' that live inside us. I saw a picture of these parasites, and I must say, that alone made me read what she had to say.
Apparently these 'parasites'are the main reason for keeping us bloated and unhealthy. She has proven that by following a healthy diet using different natural herbs etc, mixed in a certain way, the parasites go, you lose weight instantly and are more healthy than you've ever been.
She has apparently reversed diabetes, rid people of cancer and improved the lives of hundreds of people who had battled with fat loss for years.
I really do think there is something to be said for cleansing the body in this way. After all, you only have to look at some groups that live this way because they have for centuries. They live longer, they are healthier, slimmer and fitter, and all they have to rely on are natural products that grow around them.
