To just let go and relax while you dream away the hours fishing is the absolute best time. What a wonderful time. I can't get enough of fishing and spending time on the water; and my absolute favorite form of fishing is bass fishing.

Bass fishing can be so low key and have such a calming effect on your soul; but it can have your heart pumping with excitement in no time. Stay awake and alert while bass fishing, but just stay loose and wait for the fish to come around.

Sometimes there are things in life that you just can't figure out; like the ups and downs associated with bass fishing when folks are first introduced to it...some think it's the cat's meow and others would just die if forced to partake of it. It's an all or nothing kind of thing.

Bass fishing is very involved with lots of different sides to it which may not be evident in the beginning. For a great time and a fantastic feeling in your gut, nothing matches the excitement of matching wits with a largemouth bass on the line giving you the works.

So now we come to the point of which type of bass fishing do you want to get involved in; largemouth, smallmouth, or striped bass. You don't have to settle on just one, but most folks have a preference in what they catch.

If you prefer fishing from a boat over standing in a stream fly fishing, then you have many kinds of bass fishing to choose from.

Overall, boat fishing seems to be the preferred mod of bass fishing for most anglers. Joining a bass fishing party group of people would be a good way to get your feet wet with bass fishing from a boat, and this way you can try out the preferred method of bass fishing for most folks and see how you fit in.

Learn from and with others is one of the smartest things you can do when you are breaking into bass fishing, and this can be done by starting out with a bass fishing party who can take you under their wing and get you started.
